HEATHER

Dental Hygienist

Heather joined our team in November of 2021. She started her career in dentistry by graduating from NHTI with her dental assisting certificate.  While working as a dental assistant and taking classes to continue her education, she graduated with an associate's degree in health science.  She continued on this path and then graduated with an Associate's in Dental Hygiene.  While working as a dental hygienist, she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Technologies with a concentration in education and training. 

The years of experience Heather has, she finds the most enjoyment with teaching, “I am passionate about teaching patients how to care for their oral health.  As a Dental Hygienist, I have a genuine interest in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral well-being.  With over 20 years' experience, I am still excited to continue learning and growing as new studies and research develops in the field.  I find great fulfillment teaching patients how to care for their oral health which ultimately contributes to their overall systemic health.”

In her free time, Heather treasures time spent with her two beautiful daughters, going to the ocean, concerts, shopping, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, gardening and dancing!

Heather has been essential to completing our hygiene team. She brings positivity, understanding and the knowledge to help every patient better their oral health. She is easy-going and does her very best to keep patients comfortable and relaxed while getting their care. She always greats you with a smile and enjoys getting to know you!
